The area has good beaches and one of the most attractive coastlines on the Kent Coast with cliff top walks. There is a Sports Complex and Indoor Swimming Pool nearby.
There are also numerous bowling greens and an 8 lane indoor rink. There are many excellent golf courses in this part of Kent , North Foreland, Canterbury , Deal and Walmer and Kingsdown. All of these courses have open weeks when you can play in competitions at a reduced green fee.
